Herd Namibia is a family-run travel business based in Windhoek, Namibia (part of the family behind Advanced Car Hire, 23 years on Namibian roads, and Exclusive Transfer Services). It runs guided 4x4 convoy trips across Namibia: 11 days, 16 guests in 4 automatic 4x4s with rooftop tents, led by a separate guide vehicle, with a travelling chef handling breakfast and dinner.

Key facts:
- Driving is optional: drive when you want, ride when you don't. Only the person driving is liable for damage while driving.
- Most guests arrive solo; solo travellers are paired with someone of the same gender in shared lodge rooms.
- 4 lodge nights + 6 camping nights. Fuel, lunches, park fees, airport transfers included. Beer, wine and soft drinks with dinner.
- Day 4: guided night safari. Day 8: Sandwich Harbour 4x4 excursion or seal kayaking (guest's choice).
- Pricing: EUR 4,495 per person regular (USD 5,260); founding convoy 11-21 Feb 2027 at EUR 3,995 (USD 4,674); private lodge-room supplement EUR 400 (USD 468).
- 35% deposit to book; balance due 45 days before departure. Zero-excess damage cover included, no vehicle security deposit.
